What's New—June 2022

Dear Backstage users,
 
Last month, we made some updates and enhancements to our existing features to help you plan your events better.

Here's a quick rundown of everything new you can do with Backstage:

  • Manage 1-on-1 meeting requests in your event's Virtual Space. In the past, all meeting requests were automatically accepted and assigned to available meeting slots. Now, you can now configure a time period when you'll be available for meetings, and you can choose whether to manually or automatically accept meeting requests. Accepted meeting requests can always be canceled if your schedule changes.
  • Customize and choose the elements you want to be visible in the microsite footer.
  • Hide or format the date, time, and venue elements in the Hero section of microsite's homepage.
  • Disable the Anonymous Questions option for attendees in the Virtual tab under the Manage Dashboard to increase transparency during sessions.
  • Attach an ICS file for the event agenda in scheduled emails. Previously, this option was only available for automated emails.
  • Enjoy the revamped, more user-friendly Portal Settings page with smoother navigation options.
