September brings new capabilities to Zoho Billing across subscriptions, payments, reports, and the product catalog. From managing subscriptions through the Play Store and App Store to setting usage limits for Hosted Payment Page links and configuring flexible pricing for usage-based addons, explore new ways to manage billing tasks on Apple devices.
Here’s a look at the latest updates.
Sales Details by Coupon Report
The Sales Details by Coupon report provides you a consolidated view of all invoices for which coupons have been applied. The report includes the coupon name, coupon code, and coupon type for each transaction, helping you review coupon usage and analyze sales associated with discounts. Learn More
To access the report, go to Reports > Sales > Sales Details By Coupon.
Track Activities of Integrated Zoho Apps in Activity Log Report
You can now identify from which integrated Zoho App an activity was recorded using the Activity Log report and its related Audit Trail.. The action that was performed will be recorded with the icon of the Zoho app where it was performed, helping you trace actions across integrated applications from one place.
Introducing Omnichannel Subscriptions
Consolidate customer subscriptions from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, Hosted Payment Pages, and offline channels in Zoho Billing. With the Zoho Billing In-App Purchase SDK (ZSInAppPurchaseKit), sync subscription details and lifecycle events, including renewals, upgrades, downgrades, pauses, and cancellations, to get a unified view of each customer's subscriptions across channels.
Share Hosted Payment Page Links with Usage Limits (Early Access)
You can set a usage limit for each Hosted Payment Page link to specify how many times it can be used. Once the limit is reached, the link can no longer be used to complete purchases. This is useful for limited-time promotions, exclusive offers, and other sales with a fixed number of purchases. You can also configure a per-customer limit.
This feature is currently available in Early Access. Reach out to support@zohobilling.com to enable it for your organization.
To configure a usage limit, go to Item or Plan Details > Share Hosted Payment Page > Usage Limit.
Share Hosted Payment Page for Item-Based Subscriptions
You can now share public Hosted Payment Page links for item-based subscriptions.. Customers can use these links to subscribe to an item directly through the checkout page, simplifying subscription sign-ups and enabling you to offer recurring purchases for items without manually creating each subscription manually.
To create a subscription link, go to Item Details > Share Hosted Payment Page, select Subscription from the Transaction dropdown, and configure the billing frequency and number of billing cycles.
Configure Volume and Tiered Pricing for Usage-Based Addons (Early Access)
Configure Volume or Tiered pricing for usage-based addons, alongside the existing Per Unit pricing model. In simple terms, Volume pricing applies a single rate based on total usage, while Tiered pricing applies different rates to usage within defined tiers. This lets you choose a pricing model that suits your billing structure and charge customers based on their usage.
This feature is currently available in Early Access. Reach out to
support@zohobilling.com to enable it for your organization.
To configure this, go to Product Catalog > Addons > create or edit an add on and select the required Pricing Model.
Record Usage with Date and Time (Early Access)
Record usage at a specific date and time instead of entering separate Start Date and End Date values. Each usage record captures a single point in time, making it easier to log usage events accurately as they occur.
This feature is currently available in Early Access. Contact support@zohobilling.com to enable it for your organization.Explore the Latest Apple Platform Capabilities in Zoho Billing
