At Zoho Books, we go the extra mile for you. With a focus on enhancing our current features and boosting your productivity with new ones, we've got a whole bunch of updates to cover this month. Let's take a quick look at some of them.
Calendar View for Bills
The new Calendar View for bills lays out all your unpaid bills, month-wise. Clicking on any tile with an amount will bring up a list of your bills that are due on that day, giving you a clear picture to plan out your bill payments.
Bulk Update for Estimates
The Bulk Update feature lets you update a field in multiple estimates at once. This will help you save a lot of time when you want to update a common field such as the Terms & Conditions or the Expiry Date for your estimates. Learn more.
Cancel Items in a Purchase Order
With this update, you can choose to selectively cancel items in your purchase orders that were ordered by accident or that are no longer needed. Learn more.
Detailed General Ledger
With a more detailed General Ledger Report, you'll be able to see all the transaction details for your general ledger accounts, including the Opening and Closing Balances along with a row for every transaction, without any limitations on the number of rows.
Import Your Manual Journals (AU Edition)
Migrating from a different accounting system or just taking Zoho Books out for a spin? Go ahead and import your Manual Journals to keep track of all those unique transactions that aren't part of your general ledger. Read more.
Print Your Bank Transaction Details
You can now print your bank transaction details in case you need a hard copy of it for situations like an audit, for example.
Create Custom Buttons For More Modules
Custom Buttons are handy, user-created buttons that can be placed within Zoho Books to perform a custom action, such as applying a discount to an invoice with the click of a button. Now, you can create Custom Buttons for more modules, namely; Retainer Invoices, Credit Notes, Expenses, Bills, Purchase Orders and Vendor Credits. Learn more.
Enhanced Reports
You can now view more information in the Account Transactions report by choosing to display the Account Code and Running Balance for all your accounts.
The Payments Received and Invoice Details report can be customized with Advanced Filters, such as generating the report based on Customer Names and Custom Fields, just to name a few.
You can now view the amount that you're owed and the amount that you need to pay a particular vendor by generating the Aging Details report based on a particular contact for your Payables and Receivables.
I'd like to call that a wrap, but it's not. Head over to our What's New Page to learn about even more feature releases that were made to Zoho Books. You can also check out what's new with our mobile apps for iOS and Android. Try these updates out and let us know what you think about them in the comments below.
