This month, we've launched a new set of enhancements that will help you create more informative transactions and save time by skipping repetitive tasks. Let's see how:
Previously, you would have to customize your report view to your preferences every time you tried to view a report. Using the new Custom Reports feature, you can now save these customizations as a separate report which can later be accessed instantly.
Furthermore, you can also choose to configure which users can view, export, or schedule custom reports. Currently, the Custom Reports feature is available for Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements, and Invoice Details reports. Learn more about custom reports.
Note: This feature is limited to the Professional, Elite, Enterprise, Ultimate and Trial plans of Zoho Books.
To create a custom report: click Customize Report in the report creation page. After customizing the report, click Save as Custom Report.
To view a saved custom report: go to Reports and select the Custom Reports tab.
Choose Customer Advance Account
Now, while recording an excess payment you can select the customer advance account in which excess payments are tracked. You can also configure the default account to track excess payments in the Accountant Preferences page.
To configure the default account: go to Settings > Preferences > Accountant > select an account under Customer Advances.
Print Reconciliation Details
Once you reconcile an account, you can now print the reconciliation details as well. You can print the transaction details, transaction type, deposits and withdrawals.
To print reconciliation details: After reconciling an account, hover over the reconciled account details and click the Print option.
Enter the PAN details of your contacts while creating or editing customers and vendors who belong to:
- unregistered GST organizations
- Overseas Tax Treatment (for GST registered organizations)
The PAN details of customers and vendors will be displayed in the transaction PDFs along with the billing or shipping address.
