When I create a new custom field it gives the option to create same field in potentials i did not do that, and now I need the same fields in potentials, can I add these now?

When I create a new custom field it gives the option to create same field in potentials i did not do that, and now I need the same fields in potentials, can I add these now?

If not is there a work around?
