Hi, I've started using Zoho apps a couple days ago and I have some doubts about how to handle with the lead. These are my doubts:
1. Is there some tutorial to help me how to handle with leads, when to convert to a contact (or a potential lead), I mean, which way I have to follow to know when a lead must becomes an account or when a lead should be closed?
2. What does mean each lead status when prospecting by the phone for example? Actually, I didn't get the difference between "Contact in future", "Junk lead" and "Lost lead". When a person or company have no interest on my services, I have put "Junk lead" but I don't know if that is correct.
3. When I could speak to someone that is able to make decisions in the company but without interest, which status do I have to assign to that lead, "Contacted", "Lost lead" or "Junk lead"?
4. After spoke to someone that became interested and requested a visit, do I have to assign that lead as "Pre Qualified"?
5. What's the difference between Contact and Potential?
Sorry for so many questions however I'm not used to CRM processes at all and always I was the "tech man" so after working as a freelancer we need to handle with sales and this change hasn't been easy for me. ZohoCRM was the most simple and objective system I found to use and sounds like very easy even for beginners in sales.
