When you send a quote by email, how can you get it to show up under 'emails' in that customers record?

When you send a quote by email, how can you get it to show up under 'emails' in that customers record?

When preparing a quote in the quotes module and then clicking on 'more actions' and 'send mail', the email sent with the quote attached does not show in that contacts record under 'emails'. Is there anyway that this can be resolved?
