Where is Mail Merge History stored

I sent out a mail merge but I can not find anywhere in this program where there is any history of evidence that anything was sent out to my contacts. Also, is there any way to send an mail merge with an attachment? I was hoping this program would be a bit more user friendly but more comprehensive as well.
