Where is the best module to schedule tasks for projects/opportunities

Where is the best module to schedule tasks for projects/opportunities

If you have multiple opportunities for one contact in CRM, is it best to schedule tasks relating to that opportunity from the CONTACT module or the specific OPPORTUNITY module.  Or does it not make a difference?
