Using Zoho Reports, it is possible to compare the data of this month with the data of the same month of previous years. 

Below is a demo database(Store Sales) to illustrate this,

The chart " Historical Data Comparison" compares the Sales of the month Jan/Feb.../Dec for all the years. If we want to further analyze the specific products/market/... sales, then "Pivot Table" would be better solution.

The pivot " Historical Data Comparison Pivot" compares the different "Product Category" sales in different "Region"s for the month Jan/Feb/..../Dec of all the years.
