Where to import a company I would like to contact . . .

Where to import a company I would like to contact . . .

I'm new to Zoho and looking for some suggestions.  When I find a company that I would like to contact where should I put that into Zoho?  Should it go into the lead column?  I usually come across a couple of companies a day where I think, "I would like to contact them in the future" but I'm not sure where to best put them.
