I could not find any information about this topic yet: I have added a few stages to my potentials, one of them being "Project Cancelled" and another one "Partial Closing". Here is my issue:
"Project Cancelled" - it still shows up in the pipeline on my dashboard and stays there, even though I entered closing date 30 April 2009
Name "Project Cancelled", Probability "0", Sort Order "9", Forecast Type "closed lost", Forecast Category "omitted"
"Partial Closing" - still shows up in the pipeline on my dashboard, closing date was March 09 already
Name "Partial Closing", Probability "100", Sort Order "8", Forecast Type "closed won", Forecast Category "closed"
Did I forget anything when I setup the new stages? Does it have anything to do with the forecast type or the probability?
