I recently did update the field mapping on our Leads sync services between Zoho CRM and Zoho Campaigns. The end goal is to create tailored email drip campaigns with the use of segments and automation. I understand you can build cadences, email templates, and workflows on Zoho CRM but their email templates stats is lacking in-depth report compared to Zoho Campaigns. Why oh why Zoho is focusing on its ala carte products rather than improving the integrations between their products.

Anyway, I made an automation for our welcome/thank you for our service inquiry leads. They received the email based on the automation and also on the campaign (message) report but I am not seeing it reflected on their lead record on Zoho CRM same goes under the campaign summary of the contact record on Zoho Campaigns. I deactivated/freezed the automation.







What I want to see are the following:
1. The email from Zoho Campaign regardless if it's a simple campaign or using Automation should automatically be updated/reflect on Zoho CRM lead record. I am not seeing Update member status on Zoho CRM for the automation email/message settings. I only see it under Zoho Campaigns basic email campaign settings.



2. Zoho Campaign contact record should also reflect which automation did the contact entered and exited; and the automation email (message) they received just by looking at their record on Zoho Campaign. (Not just on the automation contact path). 


Can someone provide clarity on this on which between Zoho CRM and Zoho Campaign is the best platform for email nurture campaigns? I am very frustrated with the email marketing capabilities of Zoho like seriously it's so much easier and intuitive using ActiveCampaigns, Hubspot, and Eloqua. They are marketing the tool as water down version of their Zoho Marketing Automation platform but it's performing poorly.

Please be informed that that the member status of the emails sent in Zoho Campaigns will be pushed to the Campaigns Related list in Zoho CRM for all the synced records. This will have the name of the email campaign / name of the workflow message and the member status whether the record like sent, opened, clicked, etc. 

In the screenshot shared, we could see that you are checking this in the Emails related list. Kindly check in the Campaigns related list and write to us at "support@zohocampaings.com", if you are experiencing any issues. We will check further and help you accordingly.

Hi, How come I cannot see the push member status on Zoho Campaign automation email(message) advanced settings. See screenshot below

Compared to Zoho Campaigns Simple Email Campaign where that advanced settings is available?


My question where can I enable the advanced settings update campaign member status in Zoho Campaigns automation/workflow email advanced settings?

Thank you for posting. 

Please be informed that for the Workflow messages, we do not have advanced option. However, if the contact was synced from Zoho CRM to Zoho Campaigns, the member status will be updated in the contact profile under campaigns related list.

Hi, 

How come I cannot view the campaigns on Zoho CRM? Is there a specific settings that we should enable? 

Please see screenshot of the Lead record who received the Zoho Campaign workflow email/message.




Sync services from Zoho CRM to Zoho Campaigns is also working so how come we cannot see the Zoho campaigns workflow email/message  on the lead record under Campaigns list?

Thank you for posting!

Kindly write to us at "support@zohocampaigns.com" with the URL of the workflow message which was not pushed to the Lead profile in Zoho CRM along withe some sample contact email addresses. We will check further and help you accordingly.
