Why is a GMail address suddenly affiliated with my mail account?

Why is a GMail address suddenly affiliated with my mail account?

Now I sign in using my zoho account, and it says [address]@gmail.com at the top, which I don't even use. I signed up here and picked a name with zoho because I want NOTHING to do with GMail! What is going on?
