Why Won't IMAP Setup Work???
Hi.
When I try to set up IMAP email on my Android phone, it doesn't work. I am 100% absolutely sure that my username and password are all correct and that all server ports, security types, authentication types, and everything else, for both incoming and outgoing servers, are as is described here . And, yes, I DID enable IMAP in my Zoho Mail settings.
I keep getting an error message for both the incoming and outgoing server setups on my phone app. (I've tried it on both K-9 Mail (see here) and my stock Android mail app.) The error message is the same for both the incoming and outcoming server setup, and it says that it couldn't connect because my username or password is incorrect. Well, as I stated earlier, I am absolutely, positively, 100% sure that my username and password were BOTH correct.
What's going on???
