Apologies if this has been responded to elsewhere. I have Windows Live Mail, version 2011 (Build 15.4.3555.0308) I am attempting to retrieve folders for my Zoho Mail account into Windows Live Mail. Here is the config detail:
Configuration:
Account: Radiocrystalblue (dan)
Server: imap.zoho.com
User name: dan
Protocol: IMAP
Port: 993
Secure(SSL): 1
Code: 800cccd1
I get an error message in Windows; seems the server has rejected the login/password. I assume that the password for my Zoho account is the same as for use in the email server. But it does not work.
The settings I have are
imap.zoho.com
smtp.zoho.com
Logon using clear text is selected
My server requires authentication is checked
Inside settings: Logon using settings for account name and password are selected, along with 'log on using secure password authentication'
Outgoing port 465
Incoming port 993
IMAP section left as default.
I can retrieve and send emails with the Zoho mail client but not with Windows Live
