Wordpress forms are not able to send emails.

We tried with WP SMTP plugin however it also doesn't work (gets timed out on test)

We have changed the mail delivery to Remote Mail exchanger but still doesn't work.

Finally we installed zoho wordpress mail plugin. This seems to be working. However there are two issues:

1. Its adding line breaks <br> as html in the emails received

2. Two emails are being received. One with form data and another blank email.

What could be the issue?
