Work Order Creation Validation Based on Custom Field Asset Status

Dear FSM Support Team,

We would like to implement a validation in Zoho FSM to prevent the creation of a Work Order when the selected Asset is inactive.

Our requirement is:
  • The Asset has a custom field: CRM Status field with values such as Active and Inactive.
  • If the selected Asset is Active, the user should be able to create the Work Order normally.
  • If the selected Asset is Inactive, the system should prevent the Work Order from being created and display a suitable validation message to the user.
Could you please advise on the recommended approach in Zoho FSM to achieve this?

Please let us know if there is any custom function or supported method that can be used to achieve this requirement.
