I've reported this to support, but wanted to get feedback from the user community. The recent workflow modifictions are a real improvement I think as it's easier to create workflows.
Has anyone run into the new restrictions on number of rules/module or number of tasks per rule? Perhaps workflow isn't being used that much, but a 5 task business process is all that can be built now with the engine. (your restricted on alerts as well, but we use mostly tasks) I don't know many business processes that are 5 steps long and we can't break ours down that small. Does anyone know what the limit was a couple of days ago on number of rules per module. Now it's 10 at the professional level and I don't know what it was before but I was obviously not concerned about running into it and now I'm over the limit and probably have another 10 workflows to build for the Potentials Module that I'm maxed out on. Yesterday I found myself with 11 and a few of those had 20-25 tasks in them. This may not affect anyone that is all the way up and running as it appears you can still use previously built workflows. For us, we are halfway through our implementation are are stuck.
Old workflows can't be modified until you get back to the 5 task limit though so if any changes happen your workflow at this time is set in stone.
I'm expecting that this is just an oversight and hopefully they will reconsider the design restrictions and open them back up to be usable again. Would appreciate knowing if anyone else is up against this and having an issue with the new restrictions.
