Workflow field updates to clear value?

Workflow field updates to clear value?

I have a date field that I want to clear when a workflow rule is triggered. When I create the field update, I just leave the value blank for the field blank but get an error saying a value is required.

Is there an argument or special variable I could use to clear the field value? Thanks!
