I am trying to build a multi-touch sales cadence using journey builder where our reps reach out N number of times over X number of days. 

I am using the default journey as a test and have a question about scheduled actions for a given state. If the lead moves on from the current state are these scheduled actions ignored?

For example, If I build my sequence here in this "Attempted to Contact Lead' state and then the lead responds and the status is updated to "Contacted" which moves the journey forward do these scheduled actions execute or are they ignored?
