I want to workflow that checks whether my bank details fields (which are encryted) are empty or not.  Unfortunately, encrypted fields don't seem to appear in workflow rules.

I can understand not wanting workflows based on underlying values of an encrypted field, but seems a bit strange to stop verifying whether empty.  

Has anyone got any ideas on a way to get around this? Is this a feature that anyone else would find useful?
