We have recently started using Zoho CRM for our quoting and invoicing. This has meant setting up all of our products and prices. I have found this to be a workable solution for the most part, in particular being able to use custom fields and being able to completely format the invoice/quote which is issued via html is fantastic. 

I do have a couple of suggestions/requests for your future development considerations: 

 

In the product section of invoices and quotes. It would be great if, like we can for related lists. we could select which fields were displayed (so that custom fields could be displayed here, for example notes which might have pricing instructions for that product). Obviously there would need to be some fields which cannot be removed or edited, however I cannot see why we could not have additional fields for products displayed?

Another feature that would be very useful, is to have a way to see which Price book has been used for a particular item for a particular quote or invoice.  We are wanting to check both our setup and also the input of users new to the system, and other than editing the quote/invoice, clicking on the pricebook field and seaching for the price which matches the entered price on the list price field amongst all our different pricebooks, there doesn't seem to be a way to know which pricing has been selected.
