Would like to be able to link a task to a calendar event

I manage my tasks as follows which I think is fairly common for many business people.

1. I create a list of tasks.
2. I schedule my time in advance as much as I reasonably can.  Perhaps I know that I have 2 weeks to complete Task A, which is going to take me 8 hours.  Well tomorrow I might schedule a 3 hour block on my calendar to work on Task A.  Unfortunately there does not seem to be a good mechanism within Zoho to link a calendar event to a task.  I can link a calendar event to just about everything else on the face of the earth, an account, contact, invoice etc.  But not a task.

A. So I'd like to see the ability to link a calendar event to a task.  If this worked the way everything else in Zoho worked I could go to task and see a list of calendar events related to the task (just as I can go to an order and see all the tasks related to the order).  Yes, I know it's probably complicated because now you would be linking "like to like".
B. What would you recommend right now as the best workaround?  Should I copy the task URL into the calendar event description?
C. Is there a  better alternative than B available via some customization of Zoho?
