XERO API - Certified Application.
As a Xero Gold Partner and a Zoho Implementation Partner, it was only logical that we implemented our own Xero API. We've been using this for our clients and our own business for a few years, and during that time our Director and Accountant as expanded on the API to include. - 2-way contacts (Accounts, Contacts, Suppliers)
- 2-way receivables, including payments and status updates.
- Supplier Bills / Invoices including payments and status updates.
- Payments, Credit Notes, Overpayments and Allocations.
- Products
- Journal Entries
- Pay now links from Xero
- Payroll is being added now (also integrating with timesheets).
Our API integrations go from CRM to Books, Books to CRM, and CRM to Xero. (plus we have timesheets from projects to CRM).
We've handled some challenging scenarios, like Reverse Charge or CIS for UK Clients in CRM, or Retainer Invoices for Xero clients. Multi entity integration, for businesses with multiple Xero accounts. We have also used our API for Product mapping when migrating historical invoices from Xero, when they have no products just descriptions. All real life scenarios, that being an implementation partner we've had to build options, so customers have a seamless solution. We made the decision this year to get our API certified with Xero. This process is now underway as we meet all the qualifying criteria. We are also looking at the Zoho Market Place. I'm interested to hear if a Xero API is needed by other clients? Most of our clients in Australia use Xero with Zoho CRM. Is this just Australia, or a global opportunity?
