XML/JSON APIs to be Deprecated Soon

This is to inform you that Zoho Desk's old XML/JSON APIs have reached their end-of-life period now and will be fully deprecated on Feb 17, 2019 . Therefore, we strongly recommend you to switch to our new REST APIs, which were released last year. The new APIs provide richer features and ensure better performance and reliability.  

The new APIs work like the XML/JSON ones, but the syntax, output, and methods adhere to the RESTful architecture. Please refer to our  API documentation to learn more about the APIs and follow our  migration guide to know how to migrate to the new APIs. Please keep in mind that issue fixes, API support, and enhancements for the XML/JSON APIs will not be taken up beyond the date of deprecation.

We would also like to assure you that these APIs will continue to work as intended even beyond the date of deprecation and until the sunset date of August 17, 2019. However, code breakages might occur occasionally during this period. So, we once again recommend you to migrate to the new REST APIs to enhance your Zoho Desk experience.

None of the old API methods will be operational beyond the sunset date.
