Yet another IMAP requiree.. + How are users automatically recording sent mail?

Hi, Can I have imap access as well? Will this allow auto saving of sent mails from my imap into the contact history?

I.e the user will use gmail to send email, and a copy of this goes to zoho crm / mail

If not how are people getting around this issue of automatically recording sent email? I.e recording email sent from iphone or other..
