Ever since the new UI (User Interface) was rolled out there have been a couple of usability issues that I have found annoying. After several months of living with the issues I want to again highlight them and encourage the Development team to make a couple of simple changes.
ISSUE 1 - THE MAIN TOOLBAR DISAPPEARS WHEN YOU SCROLL
The toolbar shown above contains all of the most frequently used functions of the ZCRM application. It should
always be on the top of the screen. If I am working in a list view of 40 - 50 items and I get a call from a customer I don't want to have to scroll back to the top of the page to access the menu/toolbar. I want to click on the appropriate tab right away - or at least access the search bar right away. For me this is a huge issue because I capture a lot of details. Plus, as I add more notes to records I am making the problem progressively worse as I have to scroll further and further up a screen to reach the menu when I need it.
My suggestion is to Lock the main menu/toolbar at the top of the page.
ISSUE 2 - LIST VIEW TOOLS ARE NOT EASILY ACCESSIBLE
The purpose of the tools I have highlighted above is to help users quickly navigate through list views. However, these tools are located at the bottom of the list, and frequently off the screen unless you scroll. I prefer to show 30-50 records as my default record count per page - depending on what data I am viewing. However, unless you limit the number of records to 10 you cannot access these tools without scrolling.
I suggest that the development team move these tools to the top of the list view and lock them there so that users can quickly access them.
