Reading all of the past emails associated with a specific record can be tedious, which in turn makes it difficult to understand the context quickly, as these messages often include irrelevant details that waste time. This is true for everyone involved:
- Managers need instant context to assign or hand over records.
- Sales reps need a quick gist of what the record is about for further follow-ups or re-engagement efforts.
- Account managers might need to access past customer interactions and identify missed follow-ups or commitments.
To help you and your team grasp each record's history quickly and make informed decisions, Zia now offers email summaries that provide concise overviews of all past email exchanges for any given record in CRM.
These email summaries not only include what's in the emails, but also customers' underlying sentiments and intents across email interactions, response delays, missed follow-ups or commitments, key terms, and meeting or discussion notes.
How to use email summaries
- Launch the Zia Record Assistant (make sure you've enabled Zia Smart Prompt).
- You will see Emails Summary, along with Conversation Summary and Record Summary. You can also choose it from the menu.
- You'll then receive a summary of the email conversations.
How are email summaries different from view summaries of email related lists?
Whereas the View Summary feature summarizes a single email and its threads. the Emails Summary feature summarizes the last 50 emails, including all related threads—resulting in a more comprehensive picture of the email history.
