If
you are using Zoho Analytics APIs and using authtokens for
authentication, please note that the support for authtoken will be
deprecated very soon. We recommend to use Zoho OAuthTokens instead, which are much more secure.
Zoho OAuthTokens work much like authtokens, but they have better security measures built-in. You can read more about Zoho OAuth here.
As
a step towards deprecating authtokens, we are restricting new authtoken
generations in all DCs. The restriction will apply in each DCs as
below:
EU and CN DC - November 10th, 2020
US DC - November 30th, 2020
However, the existing authtokens will continue to work until further notice.
If you are using Zoho Analytics APIs with authtokens, then take a look at the upgrade steps to understand the changes you need to make to migrate your apps to OAuth. We have provided the sample reference codes in our API doc to help you to understand the OAuth authorization flow for Zoho Analytics APIs.
Please do send your clarifications/queries to support@zohoanalytics.com.
