zoho android contact/calendar/task sync - does it actually work properly?
Hello
Came to Zoho hoping to find reliable email, contact and calendar services including a sync service to Android.
But unfortunately things aren't quite working out.
1. Calendar is unreliable
Calendar has synced for me, but right now it just doesn't work, even forcing it manually. I can't see what's changed.
2. Task sync doesn't work at all
Tasks created on the device don't translate over on the Android, or vice-versa
3. Contact sync requires email addresses
Contact sycn does work, but bizarrely, requires that the contact have a unique email address. Othewise no sync.
4. Exchange sync uses a LOT of battery life
Screen uses 65%, Exchange up to 40%. Even reducing the sync interval doesn't help that much.
Could be I've set things up incorrectly, but I'm not sure how as there's not many options. I've set sync to 15m intervals instead of push.
Anyone got any ideas? Because at the moment I'm concluding that if you want Zoho for contact/calendar/task sync with Android it's just not ready which is a real shame because it otherwise looks like a great service.
Is this working reliably for anyone?
