I have a number of issues.
First, the notice you sent about exceeding the api limit says: "Exceeding the
Extended Limit of the API requests will cause data loss."
Exactly WHAT does "data loss" mean? Will data and records in our crm account be lost? Or do you simply mean that anything depending on the api calls will simply fail?
Next, I received this warning well
after the limit was hit. Isn't there a better way to notify an admin?
Why is the limit so low? I have had to put many many hours into coding around this silly limit to ensure I don't exceed it. I would GLADLY pay you double every month if you could lift these limits.
Most importantly, it is WELL PAST the 24 hours since I exceeded, and I am still blocked. WHY??
There must be a better way than this. I cannot have our company's systems come to a grinding halt just because we hit the api limit's. You are the only company I have ever heard of who has limits this low on their api. I have spent so many hours coding around this. Unfortunately, I have one system that depends on the getSearchRecords method in the api that has the very low 250/day limit.
