I have been working on developing my online store and it has been complicated to create a user-friendly experience for my customers. I have been trying to figure out how to allow customers to filter products so they can find what they need, just as any other normal online store would, only to learn that you require customers to pay an additional $150 per month. This simple feature to allow users to find products needed within an online store should have already been included in the basic plan, as it is one of the basic essential features of selling online. I understand that there are other features such as prices lists which also require additional upgrades for access. That's completely understandable. However, product filtering is a very basic feature for any online store. One advantage of shopping online is to be able to filter products so users can see the exact products they are looking for. There is nothing fancy about that. I understand that you offer other options like categories and collections, but even those options are limited as it allows a product to be listed in only one category at a time.
For example, I have my categories listed by item types. Shirts listed under the shirt category and pants listed under the pants category. So yes, customers can simply go to the pants category to see the list of pants. But once they get there, they'd have to click on every listing just to find a pair of pants in their size. I could put the size in the description for faster reference, but how many pairs a pants should a customer pass through just to find one of their size? This is where product filtering would come in. What ecommerce store have you ever known of that does not offer the ability to filter products by size, color and so on? This feature is a basic, yet essential, feature for any online store.
My request is that you make product filtering a basic feature and included in the Zoho One subscription for Zoho Commerce.
