I'm currently evaluating Zoho reporting, one of my main requirements is to produce a single dashboard report  that takes information from Zoho CRM and Zoho reports to create a 360 degree view. Let me explain what we have and where we want to get to:-

What we have:

1. We use Zoho CRM to create new billing items each one has its own auto generated DR number which is unique

2. In Zoho Projects, the DR number from CRM is recorded as the beginning of a project name, my understanding is that the same DR number cannot be captured in Zoho projects as a field, hence having it in the project title.

Where we want to get to:

3. We want to be able to produce a single report that tells us for each agreed value recorded by DR number in CRM, how much time has been used up in Zoho projects. The only way I can see this working is somehow produce a report from CRM and one from Projects then link together on DR number?  

I'm sure others must have come across the challenge so looking for some prompt advise here please!
