I think as a developer, it is very important to have the ability to manage, develop, and execute functions directly from my local development environment (for example, VS Code).

Zoho CRM should have a way to create, deploy, and manage functions (Deluge/ Node.js) from local machines.

Zoho Books has recently introduced this capability through its Custom Functions API:

This allows developers to create, monitor, version-control, integrate with Git workflows, and execute functions in a more modern development process.

This capability is becoming increasingly important, not only for functions but also for other CRM customizations such as layout rules, blueprints, workflows, and configurations in general. In the era of AI, automation, and MCP-based development workflows, having APIs available for these components is essential for scalable and professional development.

Providing programmatic access to CRM customizations would significantly improve developer experience, deployment processes, maintainability, and collaboration across development teams.

I would appreciate any information regarding the roadmap or future plans for these capabilities.
