ZDK CLI(Beta) for Efficient Metadata Management:

Introducing ZDK CLI (Beta)! Our new ZDK CLI offers a comprehensive suite of tools for efficient metadata management. It enables developers to create, modify, and delete metadata using commands, including profiles, roles, modules, fields, and layouts. The tool also facilitates widget management and integrates with popular version control systems like Git, Mercurial, etc. This empowers developers to track changes and customize Zoho CRM to meet specific organisational needs with ease. Zoho CRM V7 APIs:

We periodically release new versions of Zoho CRM APIs to enhance developer capabilities. The V7 APIs have just been launched, introducing some exciting new features. Key updates include an API to clone records with the flexibility to modify or add field values, the ability to export audit logs, and AI-powered data enrichment. Additionally, the new Cadences API enables automated follow-ups, offering options to enroll or unenroll records in a cadence. Check out this post for the full scoop!

Updated Pricing for Portal User Licenses!

Zoho CRM has just revised its pricing for portal user licenses. This change ensures that as your portal user base grows, per-user costs decrease, making it easier and more cost-effective to scale. Plus, you can invite our roadmap for portals will provide greater control over your resources, allowing you to invite 1,000 portal users for free across all five portal user types! Zoho CRM Expands API Credit Limits:

Zoho CRM has increased the maximum API credit limits for its Professional, Enterprise, and Zoho One editions. With the expanded limits, you can handle more API calls and avoid disruptions in business operations. Take a look at this post for more details!

Zoho CRM Dashboards to Presentations: Two Clicks Away!

Deprecation of a few capabilities within Zoho CRM Feeds:

We have deprecated the following capabilities in Zoho CRM Feeds: viewing inactive or dormant records, viewing records you follow, and the auto-follow functionality for records. We understand that this may affect your experience. Check out this post for potential workarounds to help you mitigate the impact of these changes and to learn more about the limited access for existing users.

Zoho CRM Workflow Enhancements!

You can now modify scheduled times for existing actions, ensuring all actions align with your updated workflow. Leverage Date formula fields to trigger workflows based on specific date calculations. Additionally, the limits for creating records via automation have been adjusted to accommodate different use cases while preventing infinite loops caused by workflows triggering each other. Track Individual Targets with Multi-Bar Target Meter:

@Oliverma Marshall was creating a shared sales dashboard and wanted to include individual target tracking for each team member. Check out @Pheranda's comment in this post on how to utilize the multi-bar target meter component, where each bar can represent a different team member's targets.

Tagging a group of people in Zoho CRM.

@Jean Lecompte wanted to notify a group of colleagues within Zoho CRM about a specific record. @Pheranda suggested using workflow rules for notes, while @Kevin offered another option: user groups. For teams already within the system, creating a user group allows you to tag the entire group within the CRM. Take a look at this post for more details and find the best solution for your needs.

Creating a Single Quote to Multiple Sales Orders:

@Shreyash Patel wanted to know if it's possible to create multiple sales orders from a single quote in Zoho CRM. Check out the code provided by @Ishwarya SG in this post.

Automating Meeting Invites with Deluge:

@MOJI wanted to automate the process of sending Zoho CRM meeting invitations via API and capture responses such as “Accepted,” “Declined,” and “Maybe” in the CRM. Check out the sample code posted by @Sunderjan in this post.

Setting Reminders in Meetings with Deluge:

@Sam wanted to create a Deluge function that sets reminders for participants in Zoho CRM Meetings. Check out @Sunderjan's code snippet to solve this here.

Converting Date to DateTime for Meetings:

@WM Yeo encountered an error when trying to convert a Date field value to DateTime for creating a Meeting record in Zoho CRM. Check out the code shared by @Cloud Bound to achieve this requirement here.

Dev's Corner:

Editing Lead Status Within Blueprints:

@Pablo Silva Osorio wanted to change the lead status of a record in Blueprint using Zoho CRM APIs! He managed to solve it using Functions and shared the code for the benefit of the community. The solution involves retrieving the available transitions for a specific lead and then updating the status using the chosen transition ID. Check out the comments section in this post for the code snippet shared by Pablo.

Searching Records with Variables:

@WM Yeo wanted to search for Task records in Zoho CRM that match a value stored as a variable in Deluge script. @Arthur provided the required solution that worked for them. Check out this post for the solution.

Fetching the deal owner name after lead conversion:

@Admin CRM DM Blueray wanted to retrieve the deal owner name for converted lead records using the Zoho CRM REST API and needed guidance on which field to access. @Sunderjan offered an approach using the Zoho CRM Composite API. Check out this post for the sample code and further details.

Setting Task Reminders Based on Due Date:

@WM Yeo wanted to create tasks and trigger automatic email reminders on the due date. @Hugh Marshall provided the initial working code snippet, which was effective. However, @WM Yeo later sought reminders to be triggered via both email and pop-up. @Subhash Kumar posted an update to achieve this. Take a look at the solutions in this post.
