Zoho CRM Eventbrite Integration

Hi,

I'm trying to integrate our Eventbrite account with our Zoho CRM. I have tried two options and neither work quite right and I'm looking for some advice.

I am currently using the Zoho CRM Eventbrite integration available via the marketplace. It works well for us but with one flaw. Each time it syncs it updates a contact. Sometimes I have to update the name of a contact (in case someone's partner/mum/friend signs them up for an event with their name but the other's email address) but each time Eventbrite syncs it overwrites this change. Is there a way only allow the Eventbrite integration to add a contact and not to update contacts? Or for it to sync each contact once and not to be re-syncing it each time and therefore over writing any changes? There seem to be limited options for the way it syncs.

My alternative was to use Zapier. This works well to add campaign events and to add contacts but it doesn't link the contact to the event which is totally useless to us. Am I missing something here? I feel like we would have more control with the Zapier option but I can't see a way to create that link between a contact and a campaign event automatically without someone manually updating it.

Does anyone have any advice as to how I could fix one of the two options? Or is there a third option that could work?
