Zoho CRM Integration with Projects when No CRM Account Exists
We have a need to integrate Zoho CRM with Projects in order to begin using Projects in replacement of another Excel spreadsheet based tool for tracking projects and communicating with clients. The challenge we are experiencing is
B2C (business to consumer). Over 90% of the customers are people instead of businesses. Therefore, the CRM process has been to enter a Lead and convert the Lead to a Contact and Potential.
Notice in this process, there is no mention of "Account" since we're not creating Accounts in Zoho CRM. However, when we go into a Potential to create a Project, it does not allow this to happen. Instead, we get a popup window that says "Please associate Account for this Potential before creating a project."
Since this is an application where we are selling to people instead of another business, what are our options?
