We are a startup adopting ZOHO and have had quite a few surprises in the process / learning curve.
One issue that has cost us a few man-days is that we started entering all potential client opportunities in the CRM. Starting from scratch, this is a lengthy process ... and when some of them became "hotter" leads, sales guys wanting to convert them into "Orders / Clients" were stuck and had to re-write the info instead of just being able to "transfer" the "Opportunity" to the next level in the sales Process (note : we also use ZOHO Invoice" and thought generating a quote / then eventually invoicing would automatically do that).
Is there a solution to this?
If not, back here we REALLY wonder what the use of "Opportunities" can be but a waster of time : its already hard enough having people entering data into a CRM, but if its to have it in a "silo", thus lost as the relation ship with the "opportunity" evolves positively.
Thanks in advance for your inputs / and hopefully a solution to be able to use the opportunites inserted in out CRM.
