Hello Enterprise Support Community,
We are introducing the Notes badge in the list view across all modules as a new quick action for each record, alongside the existing Activity badge. With this enhancement, users will have quick visibility into the notes associated with each record directly from the list view.
Notes Badge
Previously, users could only create or access notes from the details page of a specific record. With the new Notes badge, you can now instantly view and manage notes for any record directly from the module’s list view.
When you click the badge, the Notes panel slides in from the right side and displays all notes associated with the selected record.
Add a New Note
For records without existing notes, the Notes badge will appear when you hover over the record. Clicking the badge opens the Notes panel, allowing you to add a new note.
Once a note is added, the Notes badge will be displayed by default for that record.
All Note Actions
Users can quickly view, add, edit, delete, and sort notes directly from the panel, just as they would on the record’s detail page.
Additionally, users can summarize these notes using the
Summarize Notes button powered by Zia Notes Summary, which is available within the same panel.
Recently Added Notes
Upon hovering, the badge also displays the Recently Added Note pop-up, where the note that was last added will appear.
Hide the Notes Badge
Users can also choose to hide the Notes badge column from the list view by unchecking it under Manage Columns—if their profile level permits.
Client Script is supported in list view
You can now use client scripts with notes created from the list view by choosing List Page (Standard) as Page and Notes Event as Type.

- This enhancement applies only to module list views.
- The Client Script feature is supported in the Enterprise, Ultimate, and Professional editions.
