Zoho CRM picklist changes not saved

Zoho CRM picklist changes not saved

In Zoho CRM, the changes I made to picklists for Industry were not there when I logged back.  This has happened twice;  the second time I was very careful to "save" on the changes, but they were gone the next morning when I logged in.  
Why?  Is there a special setting/setup to allow changes to be made to  picklists?
