Zoho CRM: Reporting features needed

Hello,

I am an Enterprise Edition Administrator and need the following features -

I need to group Potentials by roles in the hierarchy (not users) e.g. by Regional Sales Manager - North and Regional Sales Manager - South & West in the attached role hierarchy picture.
I need to group Potentials by the closing month (closing date isn't very helpful).

Any help with the above features would be appreciated. Without these features, the utility of Zoho CRM seems to be relatively low.
