Social Tab changes owner of Lead/Contact and overwrites other fields

Hi

We have recently noticed that when we already have a Lead with all of its info inside Zoho CRM and that lead communicates with us through Facebook and we Associate its Facebook Profile with its Lead ID in Zoho a couple Fields get overwritten:

For example:
Lead OWNER gets changed to the User making the Association
Lead SOURCE gets changed to Facebook, even though there was Another Lead Source previously selected.

There is NO WAY to deselect/remove these fields prior Associating within Social Tab. 

All of this is unacceptable, as with Deduplicating/Mailchimp Plugin issues we have found before.... THE END USER should be ABLE to choose/confirm EVERYSINGLE field of information that will get changed/updated with zoho´s "automation" functions.
