Zoho CRM Task integration with Google Apps and Gmail Email
Hi, I have looked in forums and tried 10 different ways, but still cannot figure out how to add a task to Zoho CRM from anyplace in Google Apps that is at all relevant or integrated.
I have attached a screenshot from an email and it seems there is 90% integration but don't understand the following:
1) I have email (google) integration with CRM and it works very well. However, I can add a contact, lead and event in CRM from an email in Zoho CRM and it goes into Zoho CRM.
2) I can add a contact and the system asks if I want to add a task and that task goes into Zoho CRM (Very Cool)!
***But the task below "CRM" in an email under tab titled "add to" goes into Zoho Business tasks (useless and not attached or integrated to anything else in CRM!!!!)
3) I try to add Zoho CRM tasks to Gmail via Google apps using the API in Zoho CRM and it shows up (Very Cool) on the left hand side!
***However, it's hard to read anything useful and if trying to add a task from Gmail (Google Apps) from that space, you cannot see the calendar to add a date and you cannot assign to a member of your team, and it is not user friendly, etc... so effectively, though it's there - it's useless.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Zoho - Any fixes for this?
