I am looking to setup ZoHo CRM to track my business partners/dealers as well as the end users who get the product. I will also be using Zoho desk as we provide technical support to all of our end users but we want to know the selling dealer, original sales date, & serial number of the unit. In CRM it has Accounts, Vendors & Contacts. It looks like Contacts might be the best way to capture the end user while Account or Vendor could be used for the selling dealer. Overall, I need to keep a record of every dealer, every deal processed for the end user so that support can be provided accordingly as well as warranty provided. What would be the best use of the CRM & Desk to make this happen, without having to go look everywhere to get all the necessary information to make a sound decision? I need to be able to easily access customer name, email, phone, serial#(VIN), delivery date, & selling dealer preferably on the ticket page without having to look inside the contact page every time.
