Hello users,
We're back with another round of updates to help you streamline your operations. This month's release brings new features and enhancements designed to help you work more efficiently. Read on to discover everything that's new in Zoho ERP this month.
Introducing the Work Center Calendar
You can get a clear visual overview of your production schedule with the new Work Center Calendar. It displays all job cards across your work centers in a calendar view, making it easy to review upcoming work, identify scheduling conflicts, monitor Work Center utilization, and understand operation dependencies before production begins. With Day, Week, and Month views, you can plan capacity more effectively and stay ahead of your manufacturing schedule.
Create Manufacturing Orders From Sales Orders
You can now create a manufacturing order directly from within a sales order. When an ordered item has a bill of material and insufficient stock is available, a banner will alert you that manufacturing is required. Click Create Manufacturing Order, select the items and the appropriate BOM, and the order is created automatically.
To create manufacturing orders from sales orders, go to Sales > Sales Orders, select a confirmed sales order, and click Create Manufacturing Order.
Cost Overview for Bill of Materials and Manufacturing Orders
With Cost Overview, you can view the estimated manufacturing costs before production begins based on the bill of materials, and compare the estimated and actual costs once the manufacturing order is in the Completed status.
You can also drill down into component and operation costs to identify cost variances, improve production efficiency, and make more informed decisions for future manufacturing runs.
To view the cost overview of a Bill of Materials, go to Items > Bill of Materials, select the required Bill of Materials, and click Cost Overview.
To view the cost overview of a manufacturing order, go to Manufacturing > Manufacturing Orders, select a completed manufacturing order, and click Cost Overview.
Introducing the Retail App for iOS
The
Retail – Zoho ERP app is now available on the App Store. From billing customers and accepting payments to managing registers and tracked inventory, you can handle your day-to-day retail operations with a mobile Point of Sale experience.
Route Orders With Service Units
Businesses that route orders to multiple teams, can now use Service Units in Zoho ERP. Define service units for each location, map items to one or more service units, and configure a default service unit for every item. During invoice creation, the default service unit is selected automatically and can be changed if needed. If an order contains items assigned to different service units, separate tokens are generated for each service unit, ensuring every preparation team receives only the items relevant to them.
To enable Service Units, go to Settings > Retail > General, and enable Service Units.
Collect Payments With Terminal Devices and Dynamic QR Codes
The Retail – Zoho ERP app now supports payments through connected terminal devices and dynamic QR codes. It also accepts card payments using supported terminals or generate QR codes during checkout, giving customers flexible payment options while reducing checkout time.
GST Filing Support for Composition Taxpayers
Composition taxpayers can now prepare, push, pay, and file the CMP-08 quarterly return directly from within Zoho ERP. The CMP-08 summary is automatically generated based on the transactions recorded in Zoho ERP for the selected return period. Tax liability is calculated by applying the composition tax rate applicable to your business to the total turnover, and the required journal entries are generated automatically.
Quality Support for Purchase Receives and Sales Return Receives
The Quality module is now supported for Purchase Receives and Sales Return Receives in Zoho ERP. Configure
Quality Rules for these transaction types to automatically generate
Quality Inspections when goods are received. While an inspection is pending or in progress, the received quantities remain unavailable for sale, and the associated serial and batch numbers remain inactive until the inspection is completed.
HTML PDF Templates for Custom Modules
You can now create PDF templates that match your business requirements with the new
HTML PDF Templates. Build document templates from scratch using HTML and CSS, or customize one of the ready-made templates. Add dynamic placeholders, apply conditional logic, perform calculations, and control page layouts to generate professional PDFs tailored to your business.
