Zoho Finance Limitations 2.0 #10: No Access to Notes on Finance Records via Mobile App

We have always used the notes module to have contextual conversations around records especially Sales Orders which is really helpful.

Our sales people are in the field so generally they are responding on their mobile app once they click the link within the email notification.

Problem: If you tag a user on a Zoho Finance record the user still receives the email notification, however when they click the link to try to responds (on their phone) the user receives the "Sales Orders is not yet supported in their application"

Workaround: Our conversations are mainly held within Sales Orders. When a rep submits a sales order in the CRM he confirms it by clicking a custom button. This then auto-creates an assigned task & confirms the order within Books. If you need to tag a sales rep you can do so within the assigned task.

The user will be able to click the email notification link and respond on their phone because the note is attached to the task instead of the Finance Sales Order. Also, because the task is associated to the Sales Order you'll also see the rest of the record notes too even though they were not placed within the task.
