Zoho Lens Feature Update: April 2026

Introducing Zoho MCP for Zoho Lens

Build your own MCP server to connect LLMs like GPT or Claude directly to Zoho's APIs, data models, and actions. For Zoho Lens, this means triggering AR remote sessions, scheduling or rescheduling them, pulling session reports, managing work instructions, and downloading session files — all through plain natural language prompts. Know More.

Language detection and translation in Live Text (OCR)

Live text results in a live AR session can now be processed and translated across languages. Whether you're reading a label in Japanese or a manual in Spanish, you can scan and get a translation on the spot. It works both ways — scan in any language, translate to English, or flip that around entirely.

Live network insights for iOS

Technicians viewing a remote camera stream from the iOS app can now monitor the customer's network performance in real time. This added visibility helps identify connectivity bottlenecks before they interrupt the session.

Redesigned home screen in mobile app

The Zoho Lens mobile app (Android and iOS) has a refreshed look. The home screen has been redesigned for better accessibility and a cleaner experience so you have everything you need, right where you'd expect it.

QR code support within iOS app

You can now scan QR codes from directly within the Zoho Lens app, even outside of a session. Use them to join sessions, raise a request through the self-service portal, or pull up work instructions quickly without the extra steps.

Smarter session summaries in integrated apps

Technicians running sessions through integrated apps can now track the status of their file downloads right within the integration session summary. In-progress downloads show their current state, and deleted files are flagged clearly, so you always know exactly where your files stand.
