Zoho mail in Outlook 2016: Exchange Active Sync or IMAP?

Hello,
After I setup a Zoho email account, I am now setting up email client in my Windows 10 64Bit OS.
I noticed that, in Outlook 2016 client, Zoho mail can be configured via IMAP, as suggested in the FAQ section.
Having said that, why NOT set the account via Exchange Active Sync? This would also sync calendar, contacts and provide a more robust sync experience.

Any reason why I should not setup my Zoho emaila ccount in Outlook 2016 via Exchange ActiveSync (and use IMAP instead)?
