Zoho mail in Outlook 2016: Exchange (ActiveSync) or IMAP?

I recently created a Zoho email account.
Now I want to configure email access for my desktop client, Outlook 2016 running on Windows 10 64Bit.
The default suggestions by Zoho is to setup connection via IMAP, however this would not sync contacts or calendars.
Any reason why I should NOT setup email in Outlook via Exchange ActiveSync using the msync.zoho.com mail server?
